Almost a year

I've had some slip ups in the past but tomorrow May 6th I will celebrate a year of sobriety. I not only did it for myself but for others to be accountable and for the desire to have good relationships with friends and family again

Sometimes I forget about how many days it has been since my last drink. I have a reminder on my phone to track it but I have to admit I often hit "mark completed" and move on. Still going strong

#Sober for 21 yrs and counting. I had a few conversations in the past that it made wonder why do people frown upon not smoking, but moreso not drinking like its a social handicap. I respect that everyone has a choice and is empowering as long as they do not impose their choices on others. Thoughts?

Hi everyone, been looking through all the subjects we can write about on here and stumbled across sobriety. I have been clean from alcohol and substance abuse since 18/09/2011... 10:00am to be precise. Just wondering if anyone else goes to AA or NA meetings or neither but reads the big book?
