So I have a major reconstruction of my left shoulder in a couple days, and I'm just finishing recovery from ankle reconstruction, I haven't been able to work out in a year except for hiking and light bodyweight stuff. I feel like I've lost a ton of ground, so honestly what do y'all think? (edited)

Stretch marks are normal. Cellulite is normal. That place on the abdomen that doesn't lie flat is normal. Pimples are normal. Body hair is normal. Wrinkles are normal. You do not owe the world a version of you that is free of these things.
