I have a personal one. Nasa is deliberately miss leading flat earthers into believing flat earth. For a cover up as big as it is said to be. There are too many documents that blatantly say the earth is flat. Those documents are classified and should not be in the hands of civilians and even if the civilian had the clearance, they still wouldn't be allowed to show them off to the public. Maps that "show proof" the earth is flat from centuries ago that miraculously remain in pristine condition and NOT destroyed by the ones trying to cover up the "truth". And the final nail in the coffin was Nasa's seemingly intentional low quality and obvious fake trips into low orbit. One thing is for certain in my mind, Nasa is behind the flat earth myth.

Healthcare authorities and large pharmaceutical corporations are concealing natural remedies for various ailments. Nature boasts extensive resources, and I believe there are likely cures available for many diseases that these corporations insist can only be treated with their drugs. It's a lucrative industry; human health is vulnerable, and these companies capitalize on that vulnerability. If the public were to become aware of the natural remedies for most illnesses, it could severely impact their profits. Since there's lot of money involved I think it's most realistic conspiracy cause really I think in today's time people will do anything to make money even toy with other people's health.

Fomenko's New Chronology is a classic of the type. Per its tenets, all of actual human history is roughly a millenium long, and the accepted ~6000 years of history are all spread out and contain repeated stories to create more "history". This allows him and his cohorts to claim that many different groups (Scythians, Goths, Huns, etc) were actually just a single horde of Rus that were utterly central to the development of European civilization.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Fomenko's pseudohistorical nationalism is most popular in within hypernationalist circles in Russia.

That flat earth is a trap for conspiracy theorists to look extra dumb, and distract from actual conspiracies that affect people. It makes sense—some people will believe anything, so you have this easy scapegoat to group people with. “Oh you believe this thing? Next you’ll tell me the earth is flat”
