Was Brexit a good decision?

On September 8 2022, the world paused.
The News of Queen Elizabeth II's passing spread quickly, marking the end of an era and a moment many of us will always remember.
In between games, i was scrolling through youtube and found an interesting documentary on that very sad day.
I'm curious to hear your story. Where were you when you first heard the news ? What were you doing during the day and then at that exact moment ? How did it make you feel ?

So… you have to hear this 😂
After dinner yesterday, my mom suddenly got serious. Like, she sat across from me like it was an official meeting.

Then she hit me with:

“When are you finally getting a girlfriend?”

The timing was insane two minutes earlier we were literally talking about random daily stuff 🤣

My two younger brothers? They’ve got the full “stable life package”: steady work, committed relationships, everything.
And then there’s me: unemployed and single.
My mom’s eyes were basically saying, “Why is this one still not settled?” The pressure was REAL.

And then she pauses… lowers her voice… and goes:

“…Are you gay?” 😂😂
I was like WHAT kind of leap is that!?
In her mind it was: no girlfriend = must be gay. The logic shortcut was lightning fast 🤣
And the funniest part? She looked genuinely worried, so I couldn’t even laugh properly.

But it didn’t stop there 😂
Right after my mom’s comment, my dad suddenly joined the conversation with a completely serious face and asked:

“…Do you have ED? Or are you asexual?” 🤣🤣🤣

BRO.
I’m just single. That’s it.
But my parents instantly turned it into a full-on “cause investigation meeting” like I’m some medical mystery 😭😂

And here’s the final boss: my relatives.

Last month my mom went to Sri Lanka, and apparently the moment the extended family gathered, they started a public interrogation:

“So… why is Saru still not married?”

She said it felt like a courtroom 😅
In that community, being 32 and unmarried is treated like something unheard of.
Like my relationship status became the main event entertainment.

At that point I was thinking:
My life is not a family conference agenda 😭😂
I appreciate the concern, but my pace and my choices are mine.

My Family’s “Why Are You Still Single?” Interrogation

I know we all have to sleep and all to regain strength regenerate reset brain processes etc yada yada we heard it all right?

But may I just go ahead and say I really don't wanna...my mum thought I was a hard child because I never wanted to sleep but look at me now nothing changed 

My sleep rhythm mutated to 1 night awake 1 night sleep 

My body struggles to keep up

Prescription amphetamines for ADHD and a truckload of monster energy keep me running 

I feel no strain but I know I'm not invincible 

I just wish there was some way to regen without sleep 

Free me from mere human desires all I want is to live nonstop to not miss a second because this time...it is mine and only mine 

Sleep is like my arch nemesis the only problem I haven't found a way around no matter how hard I try to escape it it will always stop me dead in my tracks 

It's not even that I can't sleep

Infact I can sleep fast and I be laying like a pet rock sometimes even eyes open (idk why man)

I just don't want to sleep is all...

Am I the only one who feels like that...propably right I mean it do be sounding dumb
