Emdr Community

So my therapist has been doing emdr

But they don't have the light movement thingy and just has me tapping on myself with my eyes closed, is this legit because it hasn't been feeling legit Edit: I get that therapists aren't taught to use the light bar but it looks fake without it. It's not even that expensive (edited)

June is National PTSD Awareness Month

Children can suffer too. Adult symptoms are in the comments. I’m a CPTSD survivor and still experience symptoms even after 18mo of EMDR and CHT therapy. The nightmares and panic attacks are annoy af!!!! (edited)
