Jigsaw puzzles count okay?

Seriously, not sure where to put it, but jigsaw puzzles are definitely a game, somehow. Bought myself a custom jigsaw puzzle that's a collage of all my favourite pictures of my wife and I kissing. Guess I'll have something to do for Christmas.

I will argue simply for it's own sake that a puzzle is a "doing" or "activity" as the rules of a puzzle dictate themselves and are not an enforceable maxim. You don't know how to play puzzle. It is a broken thing you mend. Like weed is not a drug but a confusing spice or garnish. However if you are at Marshalls and you need to get a puzzle, check the games section. I will concede that it is their quickest sorting attribute.

Then are puzzle games also not considered games to you? Jigsaw puzzles are considered a "puzzle game" along with crosswords, sudoku, logic puzzles, etc (according to the internet) and they're frequently sold in board game stores and other LGS. :)
