Which languages do you dream of learning and why?
I'm curious which languages catch your interest, so that your dream of learning them. I'll go first: Japanese. I'm fascinated by completely different writing system, at some point I wanted to exercise my brain when I started learning this language, also get in touch with such an interesting culture which I discovered via Young Samurai series by Chris Bradford and Shogun by James Clawell (hope I wrote surname right). Has anyone read them? Arabic. Completely different writing system, same reason as for learning Japanese. Also, I read some books about Arabic history, it was very interesting. Bonus, it's one of the most spoken languages in the world. I know that there's a lot of dialects, but I will figure this out. Btw, which dialect would you recommend me to learn? I’m currently learning eight or so different languages to varying degrees. When starting it’s easier if you can to learn a language using a similar alphabet to your own.
