The idea of a separate legislative, executive, and judicial branch came from native Americans, specifically the Haudenosaunee (commonly called the Iroquois though that is an offensive name that means "snake"). The Haudenosaunee nation ran a peaceful democracy of 5 different nations (each with their own culture and local government) that consisted of millions of people from Pennsylvania to Canada. They had the longest running unbroken democracy that's ever existed. In fact, their federal government structure heavily influenced the American Constitution. In a 1751 letter from Benjamin Franklin describing the need for the 13 colonies to form a “voluntary Union” similar to that of the Iroquois Confederacy: “It would be a very strange Thing, if six Nations of ignorant Savages should be capable of forming a Scheme for such an Union, and be able to execute it in such a Manner, as that it has subsisted Ages, and appears indissoluble; and yet that a like Union should be impracticable for ten or a Dozen English Colonies, to whom it is more necessary, and must be more advantageous; and who cannot be supposed to want an equal Understanding of their Interests.”

Much better off slapping someone in a fight instead of punching them...punching them you run the risk of breaking your hand also the pain from a punch may not be as immediately effective...a slap is alot less likely to break your hand and the pain felt by one is alot more of an immediate deterrent.

The history of life on earth goes back at least 600 million years yet climate scientists who are, or claim to be, scared about CO2 emotions and their relationship to climate change never look further back than around 50 million. If you look back from start to finish the picture is dramatically different.

High-explosive-anti-tank (HEAT) warheads, often found in anti-tank rockets and missiles like the Javelin, don't melt their way through armor. The metal jet formed on detonation behaves as a fluid under the extreme pressure conditions, but perforation of the target is achieved through ordinary erosion, not through melting. (edited)
