3yEquality vs. Equity vs. Solution
Seems like a simple concept, as we see in this Ideal Situation. But once involved too many reality issues or factors, obviously things becoming or towarding to a dilemma or kind of situations. At least one should try to think more and put into action seriously as much as possible. And not limited yourself in only certain focuses. Always a long way from ideal to realistic. p.s. Obviously many reality factors are not considered in this original meme or cartoon. (edited)

I've seen this retarded comic strip so many times and almost no one points out the fact that they're watching the game without paying for a ticket. Or the fact they could probably watch it for free on TV. Equity doesn't work because people aren't born equal. You want Communism? Move to North Korea. Equality works because some people aren't as good as others at things, but everyone is given a fair chance. And if you lose anyway, that's just life. You aren't entitled to anything; not even life itself, if you're from certain parts of the world. People who make comic strips like this tend to be pampered and ignorant upper middle class, first-world simpletons who have no clue how the world really works. Which is why I had to point out how they aren't entitled to seeing a baseball game for free while everyone else had to pay. This is why, as someone who grew up poorer than 99% of First Worlders, this BS about equity annoys me. It's massive ignorance masquerading as a 'solution' to something. When that "solution" is really to get you to eat the bugs, work until you die, and "own nothing and be happy." TL;DR: The real "solution" is to go watch the damn game on a TV. Or, you know, get a job and pay for a ticket like everyone else. (edited)
