Best metal albums of 2023

New to this app and still figuring out how to use it so be kind. My opinion is as follows: Panopticon made yet another brilliant atmospheric black metal record Hellripper their mixture of straightforward rocking thrash and soficticated melodic black metal makes this. Liturgy made a leftfield black metal which I always wished they would do. They have finally impressed me. This is a complete deconstruction of metal as a genre. Kostnateni made an amazing black metal record with some of the best guitar work I have ever seen in this genre. Even some microtonal Turkish/Arabic influences are present here but without making it folk Haken, can they make something bad? Ne Oblivicaris made a beautiful progressive death metal album Trha that guy made like 300 records this year, don't know how is he doing it but he found some great formulas that work in this bedroom and produced unpolished,lofi, blackgaze sound Screamo legend Jerome Dream made a surprising record after some years of inactivity Please let me know if you also agree with some o the below and feel free to comment if i missed some.
