Well since John Wick is the pinnacle id have to list that first however 3 movies that are not John wick.

1.The Night comes for us 
2.Ong Bak
3.Hard boiled

I think most American movies make the mistake of adding love interests as a distraction. John wick was one of the fist that could keep up with international action films. Now if I'm wrong I'm wrong and hopefully will be introduced to some awesome new action movies.

I do like slower paced movies like dirty Harry or Western movies. Clint Eastwood is definitely a favorite though he was way before my time.
