Synthetic - or more like, human manufactured - life 🧬, if given the same level of sentience as us humans, the first thing it will do is try to understand the world and its own limitations within it. One thing we assume is that our creations will turn against us mostly because that's the idea that pop and sci-fi culture has ingrained into us. The first thing any sentient being with theoretical free will (I do not believe in absolute free will so bear with me on this) shall do is study us through observation and interaction. Then, depending on its programming, it will probably seek coexistence to continue its studies.
