Are majority in the US alcoholic
As per the definition, anyone who takes 15 drinks per week is alcoholic. If we take that as a definition, I think almost 50 to 70% in the US could be alcoholic. Almost everyone drinks 5 to 8 shots on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

@Nirman Pradhan Yeah, it is sad. For many, especially as we get older. It becomes the only means of socialization. But where I from, Bars are closing down, the only places left are for 18-20 year olds.It seem people have lost interests in going out. If I were 20, I probably think that would be sad, but I am older and wiser and I see it as a good thing. If people have to poison themselves just to have an excuse to socialize, that is very much a symptom of a dysfunctional society.
