Is morality objective?

If it is, based on what metric, or what decides it? If it isn't, is it wrong to not believe in right or wrong?

Morality is not objective but is subjective to the point that everyone interprets morals differently. Right and wrong is not exclusively linked to morality (edited)

The way I see it is that as a civilisation there's acceptable behavior and unacceptable behavior. Depending on how advanced the population is the unacceptable behavior becomes more strict. Everyone sits on their on line when in comes to morality. Some people ignore it and that's where law comes in. Your persona defines you and your actions make you who you are.

By definition it is. Subjective Morality is describing rules and customs that produce a specifically preffered outcome. This is not describing goodness in the slightest. For Morality to exist, it would require a sentient force to make a decision on what good and evil are, that is also infinitely above humanity to create and enforce it, so God. It ends up becoming a binary option. Either morality exists due to God, or there is no morality and only rules we make for comfort/longevity/safety. So asking if morality exists becomes the wrong question. The more beneficial question is if God exists or not, the answer to which will answer if morality exists as a biproduct.

That’s actually what the field of ethics looks at
