I have to learn how to play some songs on a synthesizer and I have zero prior experience. Should I perfect one hand before practicing the other? How do I go about it??

One of the best Keyboard methods out there is Alfred's Adult piano method, though I don't know about getting it shipped there. The best advice I can give is to start as simply as possibly. Learn whichever part is in your weaker hand first, usually the left hand, but it depends on how you are oriented. Then sing one part as you play the other, then switch and play the other part. Finally put both hands together, slowly at first. As the fingers get used to finding their notes, it will get easier. The other thing is not to let your hand wander too far. The more it gets away from the basic 5-finger position, the harder it will be to find its way back. If possible, try to find a local piano teacher or a fellow student who plays to assist you. I fully understand how difficult it will be. I'm natured a lot like you are.

But my suggestion some 😇 that you start with your quite fav piece/song that u whould not feel like giving up easily .. learn right first then left then together play slow then normal then you will reach point where u find difficult to learn whole song ☺️ so give up that incomplete song and move to next😈 wohla u r learned and skill up. ✌️😇 U still whould not able to play that a song properly xd haa but u r skill be increase.. whole point is that if u have patience to go through then u can do anything 🙃
