It seems like most people in my age group are all go with the flow and shy away or even cringe at people with strong convictions especially political ones. It really drives me nuts because while I understand the desire for a care free existence and getting along with everyone we still gotta face reality every now and then. For me, people who just blindly waltz through life without concern for what’s happening around them just makes them come off as shallow and uninteresting. The American Historian Howard Zinn put it best: “You can’t be neutral on a moving train.”

We live in a lazy, self entitled society, and the government has chosen to take advantage of that because they know they can. They know the people are willingly ignorant to their rights and their freedoms, and they know that as long as you give them free stuff, the people will basically let the government do whatever they want. Ronald Reagan once said "the 9 most terrifying words in the English language are "I'm from the government and I'm here to help"." Almost 40 years later Kamala arrogantly said "I'm from the Government, help is here". They're not even "offering" help, they're forcing it on the people whether we like it or not. And like a bunch of trained seals, the people just clap & laught while tnt government we're stopped to trust keeps violating our sacred Constitution.
