Am I Living
Or am I just alive? I didn't start living my life until I was 39. Until that time I wanted to die. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. I felt like I had terminal cancer with no hope of a cure only it was my mind that was affected. Not my body. So nobody understood. Nobody knew the pain I endured just to wake up. And then by happy accident they found that which gives me a will to live. I'm not always happy but I like living. I intend to do a lot of it. I have lost time to make up for. There is life after trauma. If you're reading this it's up to you to decide life starts right now. Doesn't matter what happened leading to this moment. You're alive which means you have a choice. Are you living or are you just alive?
