Why Some People Demand the Best but Offer Nothing — And Then Judge When They Get Refused
Men out here acting like they want diamonds but only bring rocks to the table — then get mad when no one’s swiping right. Date women from your league, don’t flex like a solid 5 trying to play in the 10’s game. I’m not a solid 10, but I know my worth — and that’s why I don’t settle for crumbs or fake energy. The more I talk with men, the more I’m turning into a girls’ girl — focused on my goals, glowing up, and cheering on queens who choose themselves first. Stop demanding loyalty, respect, and love if you’re not willing to give it. Real ones don’t chase. They don’t beg. They don’t tolerate low effort disguised as “potential.” Level up or stay left on read — your move.

I agree with about 2/3rds of what you said. You’re right that the energy you put out is usually what you get back. If you’re coming with low effort, you can’t expect someone else to show up fully for you. That’s just how it works. Now where I don’t fully align is with the part about people needing to “stay in their league” based on some 1 to 10 scale. Who’s actually assigning those numbers, and why should anyone follow that? If we’re going by society’s standards, then why aren’t all models and actors just marrying each other? Clearly it’s not that simple. People connect for reasons that aren’t always visible. Personality, values, effort, humor, kindness those all matter. I’ve seen people who some might call a “6” pull someone “out of their league” because they brought something real to the table. So yes, show up with what you expect in return. Be honest about what you offer and what you want. But let’s not act like love is reserved only for those who check off the right boxes on a rating scale. Everyone deserves a shot, as long as they’re bringing respect and authenticity. (edited)

Wish my table had rocks, I think some stones are gneiss-er than others but I can't be taking people for granite! Two rocks can be struck together to make a spark but it depends on the rocks, y'know? I think the best rocks are the ones that can roll, either with me or away from me, but the ones that stay around? Those are easy to trip over and harder to move. A really big rock? You gotta be boulder for that.
