There are too many factors missing to be able to assess this completely, but I can tell you this; if you’re being genuine, and not saying anything way out there or rude, then it’s just bad luck. I’ve ran into a few of those already, not here thankfully though. Here I’ve only had one person actually message back, and that conversation is going just fine. The percent of people willing to respond is significantly lower than I thought it would be, so don’t be upset by that. The aggressiveness and gold digging is just how some people are. Don’t let them change who YOU are. Eventually one will pop up that won’t try and guilt trip, attack, or money grab, and you’ll realize that the wait was well worth it. Don’t worry about nasty people- life is too short to let them bother you. If they are ugly to you, just message them back “ok, thank you, have a nice day ”, and then block their profile. That way you were nice to them, and they cannot come back at you with more negativity- will it change how they are? Probably not, but sometimes a tiny bit of kindness can go a long ways. Don’t worry about people like that. They’re angry at something and are taking it out on whatever unfortunate soul is in their vision. Just be good to people, and it will eventually find its way back to you!
