Types

So how many of you aren't really a "type"? To elaborate, I've seen a few posts where people are asked about the types of guys or girls they like. When I look at the lists, I realize I don't fit any of them and I don't think I can be put into a category. Has anyone else experienced this? Edit - I'm not stressed out or worried about it. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced not falling into "type" categories. That's all. (edited)

There's so much that goes into dating that a very broad term like type was developed to describe a large sum of people who fit those characteristics, however even that doesn't fit everything of dating in it, a person could fit a type but still get no dates or matches for some benign reasons.

Thats why those lists should be arbituary. No one person will check all the boxes; thats why the personality lasts longer in a relationship because it ultimately falls on the person you are//who you want to be around. People have to compromise. Everyone has flaws and thinking too much into this only adds to the idea that we have to fit into some category to be of worth. You are an individual and if anyone gives you flack for it then they arent worth the time, effort, or emotion. Relationships are about acceptance; not expectations or preferences
