Remembering my first date 😅
Am an immigrant in Canda, and will never forget about my first date same time around 3 years ago. He was a scholar of fine arts and I am an environmental social scientist. It was a three hour date of just debating whether philosophy was arts or science 😭 What do people think? 😅

The whole "arts vs science" distinction from the english educational system is way oversimplified. In my country, we would call things like music, theatre or painting "arts". Philosophy, Theology or social sciences would be considered "humanities", which is also not the best translation.

Removing the arts means abstract/creative thinking skills are dwarfed. It keeps scientists focused on their corporation’s intent. (Yes, I know not all research is corp paid… but tell me why after big tobacco’s intentional cancerous mislead, it was ever allowed again?)
