Trans Girl Who Deserves Better

I wanna talk about ny last relationship I was in. This man was a sweetheart, but he was so immature. He was also inexperienced when it came to dating trans people (I was his first trans gf). He didn’t introduce me to his family/friends. He also mumbled when we needed to talk seriously. He also didn’t put in equal effort I did. I suppose that was due to his maturity level?? I realized, overtime, that it was wearing my patience thin. I couldn’t do it anymore with him. I’m not someone’s secret. I’m not your mom, either. I’m a grown ass woman, like you’re also grown. Let’s be adults. I’m glad I got outta there. After we inevitably broke up, he messaged me and told me he told his mom that he dated a trans girl…and she was fine with it. It took us breaking up? I dodged a bullet, I fear. We made a lotta fun memories together, but it wasn’t enough to hold a stable relationship. I’m writing this so other trans people realize if they’ve been in similar situations to GET OUT! It’s a dark tunnel. It’s not worth the tears, trust me. I’ve cried many of times because of him…unfortunately he was oblivious to everything…unless he just avoided it. Anyways, you deserve someone that will show you off and show you love. Just as I do. We’re not supposed to be trapped in a basement, taken out to be played with at their convenience. We’re all prizes. We deserve to be treated as such. (edited)
