This right here is exactly why I put so much depth into my profile lol. Put as much relevant junk out there as I can so people have something to digest and possibly catch a vibe with BEFORE they even send that message. The people who appreciate it, it shows in the conversation that follows.

Yeah this is the dating app equivalent of giving one word answers and expecting conversations to flow anyway- or like expecting to win a volleyball match by completely ignoring the ball and staring at your feet the whole time

Pretty sure it's better with less since then they think you're mysterious and can fantasize how you are as a person and later figure out how you are on the date. Personally I read all the profiles and types out a wall of text which none would ever bother to read. (edited)
