I want to hear success stories: weight-loss or gain, pr's, all of it!

I have been lifting for about a year now and love seeing people at the gym lift heavy and make progress. Why do you like lifting and what have you done with it that you are proud of? I've gained 50lbs since last December and my squat, bench, deadlift started at 345 and is now at 695! (edited)

Man , so my 2nd week back into the gym after a 2 year break.. I figured I would be a lot weaker. But man I am pushing some weight around and it feels amazing. Can't wait to hit my dream of 315lbs shoulder press. It wont take long at this pace.
