Opinions on AI Art
What are your guy's opinions on AI art? Do you think it's just a medium used for fun or creating unique references? Or do you think it's going to replace actual artists one day? Me? I don't like it one bit. I feel like it's really going to destroy those who are passionate and love the medium of drawing art. I don't like the idea of something looking masterful being created by a Robot/AI because it doesn't put any effort into creating the piece, it's just a bunch of 1s and 0s.

Its an inavitable progress in technology. Cameras killed a lot of portrait artists careers, but holding back the development of photography was contraproductive to the bigger picture. There will still be jobs for us, it will just be a bigger luxury to get a hand drawn hentai instead of a computer-generated one i suppose. I do worry a little about the even bigger competitiveness in a smaller market tho, since its already oversaturated now

I agree actually. Makes me feel uncomfortable and unsettled about the future. But then again is it really about being unique, or trying to portray an idea? It depends on the artist I think. Also, right now it's all about using text to image, sometimes words can't describe exactly. I don't know if in the future we're going to have direct brain interface to draw images, but at that point it's just your own art since it came from your mind. So there's that at least

I think at the end of the day people who TRULY value art will appreciate those who actually poured time and effort into their craft. Shoot, I remember feeling this exact way about digital art like photoshop and procreate-but I learned to accept it and appreciate it for what it is. Because the reality is, the world will keep moving forward-whether we like it or not.

Not my best with coloring I still am struggling to properly color and learn in pro create. But I ref a drawing and thought I’d throw sylveon in there. Please note my coloring is absolutely Garbo. But I’m getting there in a sense. lol I’m more the paper pencil gal but this works.
