Self-care is so important. This varies from person to person, but generally if it's something that brings you joy or peace, that's a step in the right direction. For me, it's music or nature. Or cuddling. 💙

It depends by what. When I'm truly overwhelmed I normally end up not doing much at all and sort of stop for a bit, or go for a long walk or sth

When I feel overwhelmed (like this morning), I have a tendency to simply shut down. Cuddles help come ccome back from the dead, but cuddles are hard to come by these days. (edited)

If you want to pamper yourself and eventually get back to the same situation again in a couple of days. Try self care. If you want to eventually get over this feeling of overwhelming pressure... Don't face away from it and try to just do one thing at the time starting from the most simple of tasks. Liberating space. Mentally and physically. So you can get to your difficult tasks with a more digestible perspective. You don't need to tackle all at once. Or say that you are never going to feel overwhelmed ever again. Part of this growth experience is to expose yourself to this experiences and being able to tolerate them more and more. But accepting that you are going to fail. And remembering that... This is ok too.
