There's an old saying, βIf you want to hear God laugh, tell Him your plans.β A true relationship with God entails letting Him, (as a loving omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent father) guide you to what He knows is best for you. Too many people see God as a genie who grants wishes and riches to those He loves and who delivers curses to those He hates. Itβs is quite the opposite. Out of His immense love for you, He will never allow something to happen that he has not already seen the outcome of. He might even bring trials into your life to allow to to learn more about yourself and to give you a chance to grow through it. Nowβ¦we were also given a free will to tell Him to which many of us do, to our own detriment. Keep your eyes and ears open to times when everything seems to be going right, those are times that you let your ego rest and allowed Him to control things.
