Male fragility. He's attached a lot of baggage to her in his mind. If you don't want to raise another person's kids, that's fine, just leave it at that; but the rest of it's just him taking a passive aggressive swing at her in an attempt to free himself of his frustration. He said it right there, he wants a woman who "needs" him. That's not a love-based relationship, that's a fear-based attachment.

So, man's perspective here; This guy clearly has a lot of anger, that's quite a tirade to send to anyone. Sadly, there is a little truth to part of his rant. Most men are reluctant to raise another man's kids, especially if there is no prospect of having kids of their own. As a child of a single mother, I know dating is rough for them, my own mother is still alone today, sadly. It's not impossible to find a decent man willing to date you, but they are rare and by mid thirties the "good men" are likely already married. But certainly, nobody should put up with anyone who speaks to them like this. Unacceptable.
