I bought a basketball.

I do not understand or otherwise enjoy the game. In fact I know near nil all about it. I just enjoy that I can shoot hoops (and nothing else).

Does anyone know what happens to a person if they havent had any physical contact or any kind of interpersonal relationship(friends, girlfriends, lovers, etc) for over a decade? Can it make having new relationships impossible for that person to engage in and manage? My trust for others is nil.
