Horror Trope Question

You know how as a general rule, children in horror films are super creepy? Like, they're somehow well-tuned to the supernatural events but never bother to tell literally anyone who could possibly help them? And they never react the way a real child would? Is there ANY horror film, besides The Shining, where the child reacts to the scary stuff with fear rather than creepiness? Like, they know this is bad and they need an adult? (Why do i keep saying "Like?" LOL)

I don't think I've seen a horror movie that portrays children that way. What does come to mind though with kids and horror movies is Children of the Corn lol

The creepy kid trope is more to do with the fact that we perceive kids as clean skates and generally kind natured so when we see evil or non fractional kids it freaks us out I think that the movie orphan does a good job of working with that premise
