My response will be biased towards being asexual (ace) & demiromantic. I'm an ace who can recognise aesthetic attraction - however, someone considered conventionally attractIVE doesn't necessarily mean I'd be attractED. Someone's ability to regulate their own emotions, their willingness to work through their childhood wounds & how they move through the world forms those feelings. From the demiromantic side, the more I get to know someone, the more attracted I tend to become depending on attributes witnessed.

An attractive mind(set) matters so much more than an attractive body. When I date them my partner is an 8 or better, but I'm a realist and understand that not everyone will see an 8+ 😆 I'd say I've dated some 3s or 4s, by my personal rating, but I don't think that I could ever date less than a 2 on my scale. I have turned down some people bc I didn't have a psychical attraction to them, despite having a mental and/or emotional attraction.
