It’s lonely in the company of shadows In this emptiness I don’t know where to go I have wandered among countless untold tales Of faces and names lost within the darkness Is it written in my destiny to meet them — Or am I dreaming while wide awake of ghosts The lights are waning as I leave this place Like the afterglow above as the sun sinks The abandoned mountains echo my symphony And howl my tears to the oblivion listening But where did the man in the silver moon go? — My heartstrings pluck along the singing cold And I struggle to get out of this dream Inside this faded light I’m on my own Battling against chimerical monsters But it felt all too real, I can’t wake up I’m falling deep under and I can’t breathe How do I find my way out of this grief?
