I am not paying today’s rent.

I experience hallucinations with depression. I hear voices of people that want me killed, are out to have me killed, or hiring someone to kill me. I understand that none of it is real. It still interferes with my ability to perform. I cannot pay attention to other people because I stone wall. I took off work. My next psych appointment is Tuesday. I plan to have an increase on my Risperidone. Are there any biohacks in #biohacking or #nutrigenomics to put these issues at bay? (edited)

I started hearing some voices when I was 24-25, they of course surprised me and were very off-putting everytime even though what they were saying was not in itself bad, yet I knew there was no one around and that it was in my head. My instinct was to be curious but my knowledge and logic told me to ignore them and not encourage it, so I did, I ignored every single time they came up and within 5 months they were completely gone and never came back. A councelor has told me that it's impossible and yet I have proven it is not to myself, I know it worked but scientific literature doesn't show it, likely because everyone who cured there own voices by ignoring them didnt have to go to medical institutions so they aren't on the statistics or needing of being medicated. Luckily I began this process early, straight away infact, but I don't know if it would be so easy once someone has engaged them and encouraged them, over time they could become reinforced or more habitual frequent and believed. I just want to say this for anyone who hasn't heard voices and starts hearing them, if you ignore them like me and move on with daily life every time they may not be able to get deeply engrained allowing the brain and body to set neurons straight and lose what isn't used over time. I have known a few people who had schizophrenia, 3 infact, and they all ended up believing the voices, that cant happen if u know they are a mental condition and aren't real and don't listen to anything they say from the beginning. I mean it could eventually but there is a chance they could go away like mine did so I would recommend and suggest just always ignore and move on, they might be scary, u might feel emotional, but don't dwell on them or the emotions, just get back to doing you and whatever u are doing, don't play into the sounds, don't try to understand what they're saying or if it is true, don't be curious about then, just ignore them as best u can. If it even helps one person then that is great. One will know if the condition has become more serious. In no way shape or form am I saying don't seek help. Just that in the initial stages there might be a chance to prevent full-blown psychosis if u can give up Ur curiosity to do what u know is normal and not play into the conditiion (edited)

No rush in relationships

It's so common to judge superficially these days. You see a person and you think you know this person just from their posts or messages, or voice messages, but no, it takes time. It takes a lot of time to get to know this person. That's why I don't want to hold hands instantly or kiss, because I... read more

Extroverts -

Everything was perfectly fine while dating. It looked like a great idea to take things to the next level. You and your introverted partner just moved in together. Not a damsel in distress

There is a common belief that a woman should act like a damsel in distress, so it can trigger a hero instinct in a man. The thing is, I can never become one. I like solving issues, it allows me to develop. And I know that some men, even super masculine, can accept this. I know it because I've... read more

People who think that they know me always tell me that you don't really have any problems to deal with, but they forget that I'm a walking talking chaos and I'm a magnet for it.

If something on a small scale doesn't happen to me then most likely something worse will happen. I believe getting constantly lightly hurt (scratches, small bruises, bone cracks and ect) saves me from breaking a bone or worse.

The empath is the one that bridges the gap when the other person is not pouring in. For the sake of “the other person” instead of just allowing the other person to process their own things. If they need YOU they will need to reach out. Empathy has boundaries.

I think a lot about how much of myself is automatic and how much is really me.

How much does everyone else do the same thing where I try to see all the spots in self reflections mirror only to realize my own blurry vision is keeping me from seeing clearly? I wonder how others address this. Does it just take time? Are there shortcuts you've found that help sharpen the view?
