Integrity is the rarest of rarities these days it seems, in all relationships; romantic or otherwise. At the end of the day, if they aren't willing to fight for you the same way you've been fighting for them, then close the damn door!! Stop allowing them to disrespect you and your boundaries by continually allowing their actions show you their words mean exactly; zilch. Integrity. Once upon a time people's word actually meant something. People would rather DIE than go back on their word. It was considered dishonorable based on their family lineage, to not follow through. Where did we lose the power? Now I'm not saying we should die for our word, but what I am saying is we should put a lot more weight on what it means. 🤍🤍 "Because, I said I would." 🤍🤍 (edited)

Preach on! Thank you for this, you have such a firm grasp on how important things like integrity honesty and saying what you mean and meaning what you say really are. People throw around the word love so nonchalantly it's losing its meaning for me at this point. It's like if they use that word it replaces the effort and commitment that should already be there with it.

I think a lot of it is to do with the inflationary use of language, which I'll call the "everything is awesome" effect. When for some people everything is amazing, brilliant, awesome, incredible, they absolutely love this, love that, the meanings of words are reduced to the extent they're throwaway, shallow. That leaves them with no words to deal with anything of substance, importance or meaning. Add in more overt inversions of meanings and I think this has a profoundly confusing effect on a lot of people - how can they act with integrity when they don't have an effective language to formulate what that might look like?

So i was reading crimenology. Which tells me working principal of psychopaths. This serial killers are not psychopaths they have purpose . Mainly a psychopath doesn't want money he want pleasure which he get from doing killing or self harm.
