Was talking to some of my friends and it got me thinking. How much does age of someone matter to you if it even matters at all? (Legal age is a given, must be an adult for obvious reasons) If it does matter to you, then please elaborate. (edited)

It's a consideration. The further away from my own age, the stronger the consideration is. At a certain point, it is absolutely a dealbreaker. Too young and I feel predatory. It just doesn't work for me. Too old and I'm not really convinced they could be what I'm looking for - outside of casual dates, anyone I'd be in a relationship with is someone I'd intend to go the distance with.

i'm more cautious with bigger age gaps cuz if you're alone after 40 i need a backstory to determine if you just went thru life or a red flag 🤣🤣🤣 (ain't gonna lie. i would let others ask me this question and i am very likely a red flag 💀) edit: below 21 feels like a crime to me. i'll run away screaming "STOP CHASING ME, YOU'RE A CHILD" 🤣 (edited)
