What can you recommend for me? I have no interest in smut books. I love fantasy, nonfiction, and just good stories. All time favorite series will always be the All Souls by Deborah Harness.. yes her newest book is out soon, but I need a new recommendation, and maybe a friend.

Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton. It's darker and more violent than the movie, and it also gets its message across better imo. If you end up reading and liking it (or have already read and liked it) The Lost World by Michael Crichton is the sequel. Also better than the movie imo.

For fantasy, I always recommend The Malazan Book of the Fallen by Steven Erikson. It's not an easy read, and epically heartbreaking, but it's hands down the best fantasy series I have ever read. The last best nonfiction book that I read was Faith Hope and Carnage by Nick Cave. It speaks a lot about his music and creative process, but also has some good insights about grief, love, and religion.

Absolutely love this story. Finished it a week ago and I am still hungover from it. It would be a great film if it sticks to the book closely. The Starbucks cookie and hot match with caramel syrup was delicious 🤤
