Dresden Files
So I don't have much time to read, though I enjoy it very much! One series I am obsessed with is Dresden Files. Chicago's only out and open wizard blends our reality with that of the Fae world and lends itself to an amazing series that keep things fresh and always exciting to read! I'd love to know your thoughts and maybe discuss! I'm also open to suggestions as I'm always looking for something else to read/listen to!

I love the concept but Butcher is a trope to himself when it comes to writing women, so I got stuck in trying to get caught up with the series. The eye rolling is too much. 🤣 Also, I do like a smidgen of reality in my fantasy, and after Dresden spent a whole book running around with one arm half hanging off, I kinda... didn't care any more, if that makes sense. Have you seen the TV series? I actually liked that. 🤣 However, like the Wheel of Time series - which is another popular one I didn't like much - I am interested in how things turn out, so I'm likely to get back in at some point. I just have a REALLY long TBR (I work at the library lol). (edited)
