Used to have a hard time with this question as my library is questionable but currently is Valheim; used to be dark souls/elden ring

Building My Library

Mostly Criterion because I hate my bank account. Trying to have a nice collection of Bunuel, Jodorowsky, and Del Toro films. Always looking for recs when the next half of sale happens at Barnes and Noble.

Starting to get more into Gothic Metal,… read more

My largest library is a little under 400 for the PlayStation, and around 100 for the Xbox. I also have multiple retro and handle devices with around 50 titles there as well.… read more

Chilling in the backyard about to read…

Post op surgery life is weird sometimes 😂😂 (Freedom soon…😭No driving allowed until I’m cleared 😓) My thought of the moment: is this why I love Persephone x Hades tropes? I know why I adore Alice in Wonderland. But sometimes when i’m writing or daydreaming….another idea comes in my head and… read more

Came across this at the library and immediately grabbed it. About to start reading. Who here knows about her?

Went to get a new library card today.

I can't remember the last time I went to the library. Want some audio books on Libby for work. Went in set it up. My county has the most convoluted system. But what was crazy. I still have a library book out from 20 years ago. 20! It's the only reason my card is active. Funny enough I have the… read more

Date idea

Meet at a public place, such as a park, coffee shop, bar, cafe, etc. Bring your portable gaming console of choice (I have a SteamDeck and a Nintendo Switch1). Get to know each other through sharing of gaming library/achievements and maybe play together if we have matching games in our library. See… read more

The Quieter You Become, The More You Hear

Quiet does NOT mean empty. A library is quiet too, and there are entire worlds inside it. Silence isn’t empty, it’s clarity. When you stop talking so much, you start hearing your own gut. Trust that voice more than the noise around you.

WINTER SALE!

Still love winter sale even though I know I’ll play the games once after purchasing them and let them rot in my library 🥹😂 What did you get during this year’s winter sale?

😅Just my alarm flexing daily. ⏰️ 🤷‍♀️

Phone is quieter than a library. Alarm’s the only one screaming at me daily.

Never enough!

The struggle of preferring physical copies over ebooks is a universal experience for me as an avid reader, who often feel that digital reading lacks the tangible connection of a real book. While ebooks offer unmatched convenience, owning the physical paper copy feels like a true commitment, a… read more

I caved

I caved and bought the first book in a series on audible instead of waiting the 8 weeks hold for it on the library app. I feel a bit guilty about it but I will be listening to the rest of the series on the library app as there is no wait for any of the other books. It's wild that I feel guilty… read more

Far from home...

Imagine you are being exiled or send on a solo mission for a very long time. You are going to have an okay place to live but you'll be away from civilization with no human contact of any kind, no access to internet or radio. To make the experience easier you get to choose a media library to take… read more

Rotoscope practice

Who can guess this iconic movie? 😎 Rotoscoping is a practice of studying movement through video references. It involves tracing but not necessarily meaning “drawing on top of the video every frame”. Sometimes it’s “guessing” what will be the next pose and drawing that. Here I added some motions,… read more
