In the nicest way possible... No, I won't teach you how to crochet.😅

**sorry for the ranty post, I've just gotten this question more times than I'd like both irl and online, and it's boggling how many people think they're entitled to my free time, which is very scarce atm, to teach them a skill they refuse to work on when I'm not there Don't get me wrong, it's very flattering and makes me happy that people like my work enough for them to want me to teach them crocheting, but also if you really want to do it, you'll be proactive about learning instead of waiting for whenever one person's schedule is free to teach things you could easily learn off YouTube. Don't tell me how much you want to learn; I'd rather see you at least try on your own volition. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I'll happily send resources I used when I taught myself and give tips on things I wish I knew when I started and recommend beginner friendly projects. I will absolutely hype you up on any projects you take on and answer any questions on things you're confused by. I refuse to sit on a video call or meet in person and teach you introductory things, then have those video calls or meetups be the only time you ever pick up a hook and yarn, which usually leads to frustration bc you haven't practiced on your own. As Ms. Frizzle says, "Take chances, make mistakes, and get messy!"
