Do we really need the specific person or the feeling that the person makes us feel?🤔

That's such an excellent reflection! I think what happens the most is the latter. That can be okay, depending on which feeling it is. Still, I believe that a good relationship comes first from admiring and loving the person for who they are rather than what they make us feel. A combination of both is probably the healthiest. However, if it's only the latter, almost anyone fits and that's a problem, leading people to falsely believe they are in love.

Probably the feeling, but without that person, it can't be created.

Its chemistry… when we like someone and/or falling in love, our bodies release hormones, very pleasant hormones, the excitement while talking/thinking/touching this person makes us produce those hormones and also makes us kinda bond to this person (thats ofcourse if you realize and acknowledge that it is a real person beside you/you are talking too…) and even when the hormones wear off (and hormones always wear off) you end up with a close person and an intimate friend (and thats a different kind of hormones 😏)

I desire the feeling, not the person. But I don't want the feeling if it doesn't come from a person I trust. It doesn't matter who, what matters is the trust.
