What's your quick and healthy snack of choice?
Help, I'm starting to get tired of carrots and hummus what do I dooooooo? Lol No but seriously, I prefer snacking during the workday rather than a heavy meal. Anything simple to prepare and eat at a desk is ideal. (I've got a bag of mixed nuts too which are great but also getting a little boring.)

~Soaked Oats~ 24 Hours is best ๐ Can add anythin you like: I enjoy dried fruits, fresh berries, scoop of yogurt, chia seeds, hemp seeds, pinch of salt. I top it with water and let it sit for a full day. Sometimes I keep it in daily rotation, other times I skip a day in-between soaking them. Soaking is waaaaay better than cookin oats. Soaking removes phytic acids and makes it more digestible. As well as preserving its micronutrient profile. And perhaps most importantly retaining the grain structure. Cooked oatmeal makes mush ๐คข Soaked oatmeal has a delicate yet noticeable texture ๐คค๐ Oatmeal is truly one of my favorite ~Superfoods~ -Sidenote: Anybody remember the Oatmeal guy on here? โ๏ธTrussssst he loved oats more than even me ๐คฃ๐๐คญ

Does anyone have tricks to help with period pain?
Mine gets so bad I've gone to the hospital on multiple occasions and sometimes sleep in the shower trying to relieve the pain. Mydole doesn't work for me and i dont feel like overdoing it on tylonol or aspirin.

Finally seeing a specialist for insomnia this evening
Months of sleepless nights (and days) have taken a toll, I forget things, I drop stuff, I canโt remember two sentences and I start crying randomly triggered by anything. Not to mention itโs making my chronic illnesses worse โน๏ธ crazy how something as simple as sleep can ruin your life
