Which movie reminds you of a masterpiece?

I love movies that come across as a real work of art, playing on creativity and alternate view points outside of the norms. For me, 'Stay', a 2005 movie starring Ryan Gosling, Ewan McGregor and Naomi Watts, was a film that really plays on the psychological aspects of the characters, challenges reality and understanding, while looking for a meaning that isn't really revealed until the end... It was truly a masterpiece for me as I thought the entire movie was well put together even though I had no idea what was really happening throughout until it came together at the end and wowed.

Blade Runner 2049 Joe, a robot that is tasked to find and kill robots that become sentient, falls in love with a hologram that is sold and developed by the very same large corporation that produced him and all of the other robots. Their love seem genuine, but you can't help but ask yourself if it was all programmed. His name was actually given to him by his hologram girlfriend. She dies later on, but he meets her again in the form of an giant advertisement. She stops and calls him Joe. That's just one of the many rabbit holes in this movie. You start to wonder what exactly is the fundamental definition of sentience. Does it matter if you can't even tell the difference between a human and a robot anymore? Do robots have to be treated differently when they can feel, do, and suffer just like you? (edited)

"The Fountain" is one of my all time favorites. It's beautiful, visually, conceptually, down to the score, everything is perfect. A more recent masterpiece imo, is "Everything Everywhere All at Once." Honorable mentions are "MirrorMask" and "Dark City." I like weird movies...lol.
