Rate the Film: Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country
Where would you rate Star Trek VI? Feel free to express your thoughts and opinions in the comments. For me: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. It’s not quite as epic or grand as the other Star Trek films (the good ones 2,4), Star Trek VI feels like a good closure to the original generation crew…sort of because of Generations. It does feel though that while it plays it safe, similar to a Star Trek episode, it still goes all out to a degree like invasion of the Klingon ship and adds a pretty good mystery though it’s kind of obvious who the main villain is. Christopher Plummer is an interesting choice and he plays quite an interesting character more so than Christopher Lloyd in Search for Spock. The main cast/crew is still great as ever. It’s a good end that continues the Star Wars legacy such as, Federation and Klingon making peace, introducing Worf, and Sulu as Captain of his own ship that plays a part in an episode of Star Trek Voyager.
