Rate the File: 2002’s Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones
Where would you rate Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones Feel free to express your thoughts and opinions in the comments. Note: I’m sure like many today they are marathoning however many Star Wars film and/or TV shows due to May 4. I’m going to try to get through the first 6 episodes because that’s all I have though no guarantee I’ll get through all today. Also keep in mind that I like Star Wars fine, but I’m not a huge fan as I stopped being one after Revenge of the Sith. That being said I’ll try to be fair here for these films. For me:⭐️⭐️. Despite whatever hate Phantom Menace gets I at least like it and remember some of the good stuff in the film despite its obvious problems. Attack of the Clones, however, feels like it took the problems from Phantom Menace like the bad writing and stilted dialogue and amplifies it even more. On top of that more talking about politics and really cringeworthy romance between Anakin and Padme makes it hard to sit through as it feels like a bore to watch. Don’t get me wrong it still continues setting up the lore including the introduction of Jango and Boba Fett as well as a bit with Owen an Beru. Also they reduce the amount of screen time for Jar Jar and there is a sad moment involving Anakins mother. There’s also some good lightsaber fights including Yoda fighting that unfortunately doesn’t happen till the climax and most of the first hour is just talking. In my opinion I think it’s the worst of the prequel trilogy and the worst of the 6 episode saga. If your curious where I put it is with the inclusion of the sequel trilogy its the second worst with the first being Rise of Skywalker. (edited)
