The term "Queen"

I don't know how this started and I don't know why it persists. The term queen. A woman who calls herself queen fails to recognize that the majority of queens in history were married via family arrangement or political alliances. The king only ween through with it because it benefited the kingdom. So here you are a queen, a forced marriage. Queens were not the only bed partner of a king. To call yourself queen means you are optional to love but mandatory to keep around. How is this something women want to be treated as? That makes no sense! Is my education and understanding of terms just not commonplace? Or do people electively ignore the historical and literal definition of words? King owns all that things. Queen is a possession of convenience. Conqubines exist because the queen isn't who he wanted in the first place. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ I don't get it. If you're a queen you just wanna be the main chick while he has other side chicks?

You nailed it with "People electively ignore the historical and literal definition of words". And then they'll come and tell you that "language is always evolving" so if people use it in a certain way now, then the "old" meaning no longer matters πŸ˜¬πŸ™„πŸ˜’
