Book recommendations

Question

I love to read books that are mainly thoughts. For example the thoughts or deep experiences of the protagonist. Almost philosophical books, let’s say.
Examples are:
- 4321 by Paul Auster
- Norwegian Wood by Murakami
- The alchemist

Plus others.

Literature in general I guess. Not sure. Still not an expert.

In general, if it’s super depressed and makes you think, you go sure.

Loved The Alchemist! 
I might suggest Handl with Care by Jodi Picoult. Its a good read but nothing philosophical.
