Iran. You rarely see wildlife docs of Iran's wildlife and scenery but from what little I've been able to come across it is a beautiful country. The people are also very beautiful and I would love to see and experience their culture but I don't believe their government/radical religious leaders would like me there.

So, it's the current climate that is probably the very reason I'm interested in going, but Afghanistan. I'm strong-willed, and knowing how women are currently being oppressed stirs a desire in me to explore because I'm not sure I'll ever actually be able to go. I imagine there are so many wonderful people, delicious foods, beautiful sights, and interesting cultural experiences to be introduced to. But, of course, my biggest hope is that some day the women there will be liberated and valued. (edited)

Germany as it is an ancestral and distant relative pull, but the story my grandmother told me during her growing up during the holocaust…they were her stories but I feel like I lived them with her with the horrific details…

I’ve heard Argentina is pretty in parts but they have a terrible reputation of gangs attacking British or pushing them off balcony’s when they meet an entitled one. Parts of Africa look lovely but some countries, unless you stick to only cities and the safe zones, it isn’t safe. Some parts of the US look nice but some of the people, the tipping and sue happy culture and the toxicity/radiation are off putting.
