I am confused
I met a girl 2 weeks ago, we saw each other everyday for 5 days in a row. The feeling was incredible, there was a chemistry between us and we barely could believe what happened as this was destiny and yet so beautiful. However, she had to go back to her previous school for a party in order to keep an eye on her little brother. Since that night, things drastically changed. She said she had a trauma which came back to the surface and she needs time. She told me one part of her says go for him (me) and they other says 'be careful'. I don't know what is trauma is about, I just know it happened 5 years ago. Now she didn't see me since, barely wants to send me a message and I have to be the one sending one first obviously. I learned that she is still going to parties and having fun and all yet she can't have some time to see me. I respected the fact that she didn't want to see me even though the 25th october was my birthday, she said she couldn't mentally. As I wanted to know how she perceive this relationship (are we still together or not) she said I don't know, which destroyed me. I said needed to know and then she said it's over then. I don't know what to think about all of this, we were so much into each other yet suddenly not anymore. I know I get attached way too quickly but this feels like I destroyed this relationship which could have been the one... She didn't block me and I am trying to be supportive but she isn't responding to my messages at all. I am desperately hoping we can still fix this or try again but my brain tells me that my heart is hoping for something which won't happen... I am genuinely not angry at her, the trauma is the cause of this and I feel like this is unfair... Now...what should I do? I can go an see her even if she doesn't want me to but this is risky. I can wait and suffer for a while maybe for nothing. Or else but I have no idea...

Had a similar experience recently and I found that as much as I wanted to cling to the idea things could go back to like they used to be, it was better to just accept she didn't want me around anymore and surround myself with people who did want me around, mainly relatives and church members. It's still lonely, but it's somehow less lonely than it was being around her.
