Being a traditional man who actually works hard towards his goals and is Ambitious about life so that one day he can have a family of his own and show them the right paths to take in life, but then we are expected to live under the stereotype that being labeled the Provider & Protector of the Relationship gets you and that is that we are supposed to be that “ Safe Haven “ where our woman can dump her emotional baggage onto us all day everyday but when it comes time for us to wanna vent, we can’t because then it’s looked at as being too “ Feminine “ and we are told we have to toughen up. For us good men out there that just want something simple and look forward to settling, Be yourself and if she loves/likes you then she will follow, we shouldn’t promote this stereotype that men can’t voice how they feel in general or about the relationship also about their partners actions if they see them unfit, and again if they can’t accept you for your feelings or who you are? Then they just aren’t for you, SO! with that being said. JUST BE YOU FELLAS & STAY STRONG, Great minds think alike, Your time will come and if it don’t? Then I’ll tell you all right now, I’d rather die alone then live an entire life pretending to be happy with someone that doesn’t respect how I feel. (edited)

Truthfully, I don’t believe it’s healthy for men to hold in their feelings and emotions out of pride. Not all women want a protector. Some women can protect themselves though they may want your comfort. Some women want to know what the men in their lives are thinking and feeling. I know because I am one of them.
