I think its necessary to have communication between the pair but that doesn't mean that we need to update everything like updating to senior officer. There is no specific time or number of text. You can have daily conversation or sometimes talk within a week. Depends on the situation , workload and other thing. If someone truly loves you and you truly love someone then it is necessary to have mutual understanding between the pair 😊

For four years, my girlfriend and I have been in constant communication. We are always aware of each others location and condition. There’s never a moment that we’re not aware of each others current status. It’s so awesome. We love how connected we are and knowing what each other are experiencing every minute of every day. We look to the future with excitement and joy knowing it will be exactly the same as the way we have been doing things all along. Together in full awareness of one another’s status at all times.
